Hi guys! So, I am absolutely over the moon to be able to say that Alphabeth has just reached 300 followers!! I actually can't believe it, I almost feel like I finally have a proper "grown-up" blog now, if you know what I'm saying? Maybe not. But anyway, I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone for all the love and support I've received over the last 6 months since I've been writing this blog. It's amazing to be part of such a positive and encouraging blogging community to the point where I can honestly say that starting Alphabeth has been one of the best decisions I've ever made, if only just because it's given me the chance to get to know so many of you!
Just to say a massive thank you for everything, I've decided to run my first ever giveaway, albeit just a lil mini one. Since I know there are a lot of you out there who share my enthusiasm for the gorgeous Penguin English Library books (Amanda and Jess, I'm looking at you!) so I thought it might be nice to give you the chance to win any one book of your choice from the entire collection. In love with this. The decision on what novel to choose is pretty weighty, but I would have to go for 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde. Have been meaning to buy it for a long time (particularly as its on my Yr 11 reading list) and I do think that a gorgeous cover will be a source of motivation to get reading in itself. Congratulations on hitting 300 followers in 6 months - its a crazy achievement and you should be incredibly proud (I really do have a penchant for your blog)

I LOVE 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'! It's my favourite book and probably my favourite cover from this series too, so excellent choice!!

Wow Beth, congratulations!! What a great milestone, I'm near(ish) to 100 and feel like getting into 3 figures is an achievement, let alone more than that! As an English lit student I naturally love books so I think it'd take me a while to pick out one! What a great giveaway though and unique to your blog as well :)
